Microsoft Office Success Center website design

The Microsoft Office Success Center website design was one of my first major projects when hired on at Provoke, and I jumped into it feet-first. With lots of client input, we began to build a great picture of the website content and how we could best serve it to our users in a useful, meaningful way. A very content heavy site, we invoked the Microsoft Office brand standards to build an appealing and compelling marketing site that encouraged it’s users to explore the ways that Microsoft Office can be a path to success in their unique situations. The website design was built using inspiration from a fellow Microsoft site — Yammer Success Center. By making the experiences similar, we could create a certain amount of cohesiveness that soothed the user. Illustrations were custom works built using specific elements from Microsoft’s own brand tools.

In a later release, we built a custom portal where our users could build their unique Microsoft Office adoption plans for their company. This included creating multiple custom plans, where the user could select built-in options or create their own, sharing the plan with other users in the organization, and collaborate with their co-workers on their plans. This section of the website design was an intense piece of work with an extremely tight deadline, where I was able to manage a design team (in another time zone!) and coordinate with developers and client to produce a polished product that, ultimately, the client was thrilled to present to her userbase.

This is a unique website which will require a more modern browser to work!
